US Senate Youth Program and Scholarship
Attendance at AWSL high school summer leadership camps are the only way for Washington students to apply for the United States Senate Youth Program and Scholarship. Each AWSL camp chooses two finalists and two alternates to be forwarded to the state nominating panel, and that panel will choose two nominees and two alternates for the Senate Youth Program the following spring. Please visit the individual camp pages for their application and nomination procedures.
Emerging Leaders Scholarship
Unfortunately, AWSP and AWSL have been unable to secure timely funding for the Emerging Leaders Scholarship for the 2019 camp season. We are currently working on identifying partners that will enable us to have a secure and sustainable revenue stream in order to offer this scholarship opportunity for 2020 and beyond. Visit the Emerging Leaders Scholarship page for information and history of this program.
